St. George's is a community of faith that leads with love, and that is absolutely committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While we are a traditional Episcopal Church in terms of our style of worship, we mean to be innovative and creative in the ways that we carry out the work that Christ has given us to do, which is to love and serve others in his name.
St. George's Episcopal Church, Bossier City is open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds. We lead our congregation in worship, deepening the connection to God, understanding the teachings of Christ, and ultimately to a vibrant faith.
We are in the heart of Bossier City on Airline Drive just South of I-20. We became a parish following our formation in the 1950’s. We built our church in several phases during the 1960’s and have maintained services on this site ever since that great start.
We are involved in our community through the outreach of our congregation. Through the dedication of our leadership, staff members and volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message.
